sorry for interrupting.

we were driving back from Brooklyn to Lakewood on the 440 and the SUV in front off us kept on swerving very close to the divider, we passed him and of course we noticed his two hands were on his smartphone.

the next morning heading from Lakewood to Brooklyn on the gowanus expressway we were trying to move over to the right lane as we needed to get to the exit, a bunch of impatient people didn't let us in, finally the Tesla let us in, I get excited when I see a Tesla so I turned to the side and I see the driver with both hands and his smart phone not even peeking on the road, with auto pilot set, turns out that the auto pilot stopped when it detected that we are trying to move in, cool!

Tesla Feature Request: don't let others in front of me.

Tesla is coming out with Auto Pilot EAP hardware v3.0, which should be much better.
v2.0 will need a service center to upgrade. Will delay my purchase until then.

Gotta say, it was really really nice to have EAP do the driving for me to get home from the airport at 3AM yesterday.

Agreed. Did a test drive of the L3P last week and its a rocket (30 to 80 in 2sec!). Tesla had 4 L3P with my configuration avail immediately from local SC. No waiting.

EAP behaves best on Highway drive, gets confused on city drives.

35k Model 3 will prob appear in 6 months according to EM.

That 3750$ credit is not the same as a Discount. You have to file your tax return and you must have a federal tax liability that meets or exceeds the incentive amount. Its not immediate.

Ask a tax professional about potentially filing for the credit earlier. Another factor to consider is that in states with sales tax, you pay sales tax on the full amount prior to the tax credit.

Unlikely. Battery is the most expensive component of the EV.
The Mid Range model has a long range battery with fewer cells.

I took delivery of a Model 3 on Dec. 26th. I had to get a second 30 day tag over-nighted to me last week. When I called the local service center, they said the state DMV was backlogged and they had no way of tracking the permanent one. I called again today to follow up on the permanent tag and was told I should be receiving it by end of the week because they sent the letter requesting it to DMV a day ago. I expressed disappointment over the fact that they didn't bother submitting it for over a month and was rebuffed with a lame excuse over how busy they were with December deliveries and a sob story over how many registrations they had to request. Not even an apology for the inconvenience (and apparent oversight). Mind you that where I live I would have saved a meaningful amount on toll roads with an electric vehicle decal (which is unavailable to 30-day tag holders).
