Summary of changes Tesla announced on 28 Feb 2019
Autopilot is now $3,000 instead of $5,000 and it is now called just 'Autopilot' instead of 'Enhanced Autopilot'.
Cost to add FSD increased from $5k to $7k
Not entirely accurate. EAP, which used to be available for $5,000 pre-purchase, is no longer available. Instead, a pared back version called Auto Pilot with fewer features is available for $3,000. Some of the EAP features have been moved to FSD, which is available for $5,000 (requires Auto Pilot purchase).
While it wasn't included in the core announcement, customers who already have EAP will keep some of the features now part of the FSD package (Navigate on Autopilot, Advanced Summon and Parking Assist) and have the option to upgrade to FSD for $3,000.
