It becomes more valuable to me with each passing week.
I'm referring to this, maybe you don't mean it appreciates, but You seem to say how its different then the standard depreciating car.

How would you value it as years pass?

Just because something becomes more valuable to me doesn't mean that it appreciates on the open market. It means exactly what I said.

Hardly something typical for a purchase of a car or house.

Houses can be an investment. A new sedan almost never is 😂

Nothing like an investment that needs constant work to keep it from falling apart.

Lets see about your Tesla one the warranty is up. My dad’s model s has had over 40k of repairs due that Tesla took care of due to defects. His warranty will be up soon...

And even if they repair issues, value still decreases and they don’t compensate for that.

Will take a long time to replace the millions of vehicles needed to make uber obsolete at their current production rate. As well as legal challenges. But give them 10 years and maybe.

Silly math. Ignores value of his time while driving with  Uber/lyft. Also, huge insurance risks with renting out w/ turo. Their coverage is crap. They don’t cover all damage to vehicle. And good luck collecting tolls from Driver or from your own insurance...

It's not silly math, its' completely false. He didn't count the income from Uber/Lyft/Turu using a different car.

And this is what I call a Tesla Pickup Truck, would love to get my hands on one!
He says he wants to make it affordable and no more then 49,000$ for this model, and for more you can obviously add all the extras.

Dan (and anyone else who had a Tesla for 6+ months)
How’s it been treating you so far? Any regrets or are you still happy with it?

I'm waiting on the model S 100D to drop in price, soon ish (end of quarter) I'm sure they'll have an incentive to get rid of some inventory ones no?

Pretty much the same. It's an amazing car. A true paradigm shift from ICE cars, as it it's downright painful to drive any ICE car, even a luxury one.
That being said, service is abysmal and their wildly fluctuating pricing strategy is annoying.
