Finally an honest, negative take from electrek
I wonder if we'll look back at this in ten years as a turning point in car design. I don't think so, the car is just ugly...but you never know

Tesla has confirmed its plans to enter the Israeli market. Two weeks ago, Tesla registered a subsidiary of Israel under the name Tesla Motors Israel.

Israel requires that the company registered in Israel be the importer. This is contrary to Tesla’s business model to sell their vehicles directly to customers.

In addition, Tesla aims to work in Israel also in renewable energy sources, in particular solar energy.

Is there a big demand for Tesla in Israel ?

It will all depend on pricing, but there is definitely a market for electric here. As of now there really aren't a lot of mechanics who have any experience with electric, so it's probably not the safest purchase. But if Tesla comes in with the infrastructure for that, I think it will be a big hot

Ridiculous
ETA: I'll admit that it's cool that they have the ability to do that but still...

Just wait until it's free. And then goes up to $3,500. And then drops to $750. And then goes away completely.

True story. I feel like if I buy then it will be $500 tomorrow and if I don't then it will be no longer available to buy.
Sigh.

Apparently testers are saying this takes it from 4 to 3.5 seconds and that it's noticable.

I don't get why they can't match the Performance specs, unless they're just trying not to anger those buyers.

It seems like Tesla is light years ahead of all other car companies, why is that? Do any other companies produce  cars similar? The  only cars that come to mind from the big companies are compact cars like the Prius, Volt and Leaf... why is Tesla in a whole different league?

Audi, Jaguar, and Hyundai all produce electric cars. Hyundai's is priced for regular people, too.

Ioniq. There's a regular hybrid version, a plug in hybrid, and an electric version. There's also an electric version of of the Kona.
