Pros of NJ: 4 free Chevy bolts per person
Cons: everything else
LOL
Probably pay for those bolts with 1 year of property and income taxes.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

FTFY. We need better leasing deals on the Teslas. They're just ridiculously priced. Makes much more sense to purchase. I guess Tesla doesn't incentivize leasing the way other manufacturers do.

Wish they’d throw in a model Y for good measure. Then it’d be worth it. But I’ll take the Chevy.

It’s not horrible in NJ. 400s all in when you factor rebate.

Horrible when you consider a similar MSRP Hyundai Ioniq EV is close to free with current incentives. They're not the same class car, but that it exactly my point. The Hyundai leases much better because of incentives, while the Tesla is not even close. Purchasing price will be close.

Not disagreeing, but that doesn't address the point that it leases horribly.

50k Tesla 3 leases in NJ similarly to 50k bmw or Mercedes.

Of course not going to lease as good as a vehicle still getting 7k fed tax credit, but it’s MSRP isn’t as inflated as it was because of that.

Not quite. Unless you get a really bad lease deal on those BMWs. $35k Tesla doesn't lease anywhere close to a $34k Ioniq. Right now, there's $14,000 incentives for that, so even taking out $7,500 from the tax credit, it's still not close. Besides that you can negotiate selling price of the Ioniq lower than MSRP by a couple of thousand. Residual is slightly better on the Tesla, but interest rate is also high. All those make it much more expensive to lease.

I'm not talking about if it's in the same league or not. It's not.

You are saying it leases horribly because you can get an ioniq for 1/4 of the price. And he's simply saying that if you evaluate it based on a car of its caliber it leases just fine. An ioniq has nothing on a tesla. If it's not in the same league you can't use it as a comparison to say it leases horribly.
I'm not who you think I am.

It's the same MSRP. That all I'm saying. And it leases horribly. Can't change the facts.
