Just beware that you need to keep either Sentry mode or Cabin Overheat protection on in order for the 12v to be on while the car is sleeping.

I understand that a to output AC power is added an complexity for the manufacturer, but it seems so odd that the car synonymous with “EV” doesn’t have a built in “electrical outlet”, while nearly every other gas powered car I’ve driven in the last 10 years did have one.

Agreed. Its dumb that you have a huge 75KWH battery and no real way to use it other than through the 12v.
Ford f150 lightning offers vehicle to grid capability.

AFAIK there is no indication that it won't be classified as an SUV.

I see online that 2022 Model 3 standard are listed for over $55k. Is that the price I can actually expect to sell mine after I get it?

Would recommend against it. Pushing off delivery will only give you about a week or 2 before they assign a new vin and Tesla has been cancelling orders for people trying to push off until January.

You can ask to put on hold or just don't schedule pickup and they'll put on hold. They will tell you that it may be subject to cancellation, which means they can give you a deadline to take your order off hold or it will be cancelled.

I just did this recently without issue.  Make sure the new driver sets up their own Tesla account using the sent invite.

Newer teslas output 16v from the DC outlets and most inverters can’t take more then 12, the one quoted does not state that 16v input is ok.

I ended up using this one that has less wattage but states that 16v is fine.
It worked perfectly for the warmer, but since the power button is touch sensitive i turned it off a few times without realizing.

Thoughts on Tesla using a vision only for FSD so they don’t have to deal with the sensor fusion problem?

Aside from the spacing of the taillights, the bikes license plate should be reflective and therefor visible to the car. But does the motorcycle plate’s small size make the tesla think it’s further away?

Finally got FSD Beta.
Boy is it far from ready for prime time. It's pretty brutal.

So far had 6 flawless drives. The only issues have been with a 4 way stop sign that it treats as a 2 way stop sign and is overly cautious.
I’m very impressed so far.

Drove it to shul and back this morning. It was absurdly cautious with a left turn from a stop sign onto a 4 lane street and I had to take over.

Driving back, it made a right turn onto the 4 lane street and moved into the left lane for no reason before having to go right back into the right lane. It handled parked cars on the small 2 lane street very poorly, needlessly using the turn signal to go around them and back, forcing itself back into the right lane even when there were parked cars right in front of that.

It drove worse than a 15 year old who just got a permit. If there was a cop behind me, he'd have instantly whipped out the breathalyzer.

Granted just 2 very short drives, but very unimpressed so far.
