I live in Moshav Matityahu. If I weren't Jewish, I can rent out my place to tourists and advertise on Airbnb. But not if I'm Jewish.

I want to see where they state they won't list based on religion. According to that statement it doesn't matter what your religion is.

Yeah it doesn’t say anywhere it’s because he’s jewish rather bc where he lives-which I believe is ALSO wrong but that’s a different story. If he lived in Timbuktu he’d be fine.

There are both Israeli and Palestinian settlements in those "disputed territories". Based on this statement which of those will be allowed and which will not?

Once you answer that question, please tell me what is the difference between those that are allowed and those that are not..

It is not clear by the statement so that is why I want to see the whole text.

Not going to avoid your question so I will take a guess. My guess is they don't look at it as two different settlements.

Ok so the vast majority of ppl living there are Arab. Yes there are a bunch of Jewish towns, beitar, modiin, givat zeev, maale adumim etc. but if you look at a map the west bank area is huge in comparison so airbnb is likely trying to juggle a precarious situation by being as fair as possible

To make a side point I’m quite surprised and impressed at how apple maps displays the green line; it’s hardly visible (probably due to its hardly visible reason for it to exist..)I actually couldn’t find it right away as I can w google maps.

Are they referring to all settlements as "Israeli settlements". Are they not considering "Palestinian settlements" as settlements. I have no idea.

Maybe they are ill-informed as I am. I thought there was only Israeli settlements.

Pretty bad to be I'll informed about that when you are running a business in the area. Ignorance isn't an excuse if you are going to be making a company policy based on assumptions. I wouldn't necessarily expect average ppl to know on the other hand, considering the way the "settlements" are covered in the media

We don't know actually what they are thinking. What if they believe the land is the Palestinians? What if they believe the Israeli settlements are illegal?
