I tried explaining this so a 4 year old could understand it. This is not about betting if Trump or Biden is going to win. It is about the kool-aid drinkers claiming the polls are wrong but afraid to back it up. Maybe this will help the uneducated understand.  :)

I am taking all bets on the poll in Alaska showing Trump has 5-7% lead. Who wants to bet against that poll? Time to PUOSU!!!

I didn't claim anything. I took every bet from everyone that spoke up. They decided the amount not me. Don't let the facts get in the way of your kool-aid.

I have no idea who is going to win the election. I do know the polls are right more than they are wrong.

I did an experiment on a WhatsApp chat of my friends. I asked who everyone was voting for. Most people responded publicly. Some didn't. I privately asked those who didn't respond if they would share with me who they are voting for privately if I kept their answers in confidence. They all responded they were voting for Trump. I asked them why they didn't post their voting preference on the chat. They all had different reasons why they didn't want publicly announce that they were Trump supporters. One was even afraid that someone would share a screenshot of his Trump support and he would lose his job.

Although my experiment is not scientific, I saw firsthand that there are "shy Trump supporters" out there.
