Nice! By far the cheapest redemption option for J to TLV on UA, LO and SQ. Ex-TLV it's even worthwhile over LifeMiles with the fuel surcharges, due to the significant savings in miles.
IMHO, DDMS can categorize as HOT as the only other way to earn Aegean (without flying) is from Marriott.

Btw, this also qualifies for 5x MR on the consumer platinum (tried and confirmed) and 3x UR on Reserve. Even those who book travel with Chase for the travel insurance, will be better with the Amex Platinum, since the insurance is irrelevant here.

That depends on how hight the fuel surcharges are. With LH and OS obscene YQ, Lifemiles seems to be a cheaper option.

Good to know. Though TK is 47,000 miles which can be transferred from Citi (I don't know what's the going rate for that). Also, TK sometimes has saver availability that doesn't show on western partners (which includes Aegean. It seems to show on Asian partners such as SQ)
