What if they get an overload of Sam's cards being sold to them? Will they stop accepting them?

Also why can't you buy the $10 Gift cards to a different store?

I'm actually gonna use them so no loss for me.  I usually buy Wal-Mart gift cards using my Amex to use at sam's.

Total miles should be about 123,500, or more than a business class ticket to Israel.

Yeah that's what I kind of figured. Oh well! I got rid of the cards at cost so no money lost but it would be nice to actually get my miles!! We'll see what happens...

I just reopened a UA card to re-qualify for this, and I'm in the process of switching the FFN to the UA account I got the targeted  mailing.

I've noticed a lot of the UA MileagePlus mall stores have added verbiage excluding GC purchases. What store GC purchases qualify besides for Nordstrom and Sam's Club? (or can I buy Home Depot GCs and my purchase will qualify for the promotion but I won't get the bonus points from the UA MP mall?)

I read on FT  that a few more stores have changed to "no g.c. count" I take it as they do not count toward promo -- I BOUGHT SOME K-MART GC  TODAY they appear to be ok and the do not charge any extra fee---- easy to use up on many food items , household products etc.-- do not think HD COUNTS

HD definitely excludes GCs, it's in the MP mall HD page.

Anyone have any other suggestions for an easy/cheap way to get 25K UA with this promo?
