Gold in '09 got me an upgraded room on a PB rate in Tiberias.

Does anyone here use Priority Club? Q - I'm 3,000 short of being Platinum- If I transfer them from my Chase Sapphire will I get Platinum for 12 months? How does it work?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but it does seem like the right place for the question.

My father has the PC credit card, which I think I read automatically gives the top tier status. Will this do anything for me, especially with a Hotwire/Priceline type reservation? I see on their website it says platinums get complimentary room upgrades. Is that what people in this thread mean when they say it won't get you anything, ie they never have 'availability' for those upgrade?
