If it's a debit card you might be able to get Cash Back at stores like 7/11 when you pay for an item there's an option to withdraw cash.

Used to go to Walmart and buy a bananas at self checkout, and withdraw $100 with every banana.

I didn't see that offer in the Amex Offers discussion, Report New Amex Offers, or on DDMS. Is that new?
