2nd laptop

I'm looking for a '2nd laptop' for my house. I'd use it mostly for internet browsing (for work/school). I would like to be as economical as possible. Any suggestions?

What is the price you have in mind?
I would suggest even for a 2nd laptop to get a dual core processor and 3gb of ram. Hard drive size isnt so relevant as I doubt u'll fill it up
Depending on the brand is what u'll pay. Bestbuy has pretty good sales. I have bought a lot of really good priced laptops there.

if it s really just for internet browsing then prob a netbook is your best bet if you want something cheap

most netbooks are a total waste, they are so slow and the screen is way too small

Does anyone have any experience with the Barnes and Noble nook? I am curious to know how fast the internet speed is...?
