Citi aadvantage application question
« on: September 04, 2011, 11:51:31 AM »
I applied for both the the Aadvantage personal amex (75k $4000 spend) and personal visa (75k $1500 spend) at the same time
The personal visa gave me an error after applying- so im assuming it didnt go though and also I didnt receive anything about it
The Personal Amex application went through however I got a letter that I wasnt approved.

Should i reapply for both again ? or just call them and reconsider for the Amex -$4000 spend 75k?

The next best apps are the 50K applications. You have 2 for personal and 1 for business. Link is here http://www.dansdeals.com/forums/index.php?topic=3104.msg132161#msg132161 try going for all three at once.

And, welcome to the DD forums!

you write go for all 3 at once; can you apply for all three using the same aadvantage number and get all 3 50K bonuses?
I seem to be seeing across other threads that aa churning is long over?!

I plan on applying for 3 cards some time soon my question is should I put the same aadvantage number in all 3 applications?

According to reports here, you can always put your same aavantage number on an app, it's not what makes the difference. If you slip through the cracks, you get the card, if not, you don't get it, hence YMMV.

I was suggesting here that you do a triple app, which works many times. Search from 3BM on how to do this. Good luck!

I'm not asking regarding 3BM or whether or not Citi will approve me for all of them; I'm asking regarding AA and the miles. Will AA allow 3 bonuses to credit to 1 aadvantage account? or do they have some sort of restriction of 1 bonus per person per year or something along those lines?

They certainly do have restrictions, but they're not always enforced.

Look at the fine print of the specific offer.
