Price Protection Claim with Discover Denied - Need advise
« on: November 28, 2018, 06:56:31 PM »
I submitted a price protection claim with discover and it was denied saying all the purchase should be done by the same discover credit card. Actually I had used only one discover credit card to buy Canon camera. However, I redeemed my Dell rewards of worth $10 while purchasing the camera. So in the order receipt - After sub total of the item, there is one more entry of payment like - Dell advantage = $10.

Now claims team is saying they can't honor the price since there is a payment of Dell advantage rewards in the order. When I told them that dell rewards are more of promotion given by Dell for their loyal customers, they asked me to get a proof from Dell saying its not additional payment.

Please advise what should I need to do.
