That’s potential. Maybe you’ll make less. But it’s a nice profit for very little effort, relatively speaking. But to each their own.
I think 90% is being overly optimistic. I’m not afraid to admit that I’m wrong, and if I am then so be it.
Booking travel on a credit card carries certain benefits. Up to 3x points, travel insurance and sometimes other airline-specific benefits. To forego those benefits and book on a gift card, at least for me, it would require a substantial discount.
I have also sold airline cards here on the forums and the best I’ve gotten was 80%. Granted, I never sold a gift card of $1000, so I may be wrong.
