Heard good things about Kirkland as well. That's next on my list if I ever leave pampers.

You fund a 1 month CD with a CC. Cash the CD and pay the CC. Rinse and repeat. That was the very basics.

They were giving 5% on a one month CD? I still don't get how you were able to fund a CD with a CC? THey allowed you to swipe a CC to fund the CD?

How did this end up in the "smoking" category? I would put it in the "Hot" category IF you already are a Kohl's cardmember. Definitely does not reach smoking temperatures.

The vast majority of prices at Kohl's are artificially inflated. It takes two coupons just to bring it to match Amazon's everyday pricing, and then without a Kohl's card you need to pay for shipping, or do pick up IF a store nearby has the item in stock. So in total, SOME items are a hot deal IF you already have a Kohl's card.

That said, I'm really banking on some smoking deals this November.

The sheer volume of deals was insane. 17 polos for $17, sonicare toothbrushes $5, and so much more.

And then they lose it. Or you miss the window... and all the rebates get negated based on the amount money you lose.

I think rebates are great especially from office supply stores.
