So far every date I checked starting Jan 2, has the new configuration. Also, why would you assume this is subject to swaps more than regular flights. Any source?

Because they need to retrofit the 77Ws. Look at the link in OP for progress.
They're booked that way so that they don't sell too many seats in case of downgauge.

The fact that PP will be sold on every TLV route (including IAD) quite early illustrates the strategic value of TLV to United. Still amazes me that American just stands on the side watching this.
