I tip waiters, car service, ect, not housekeepers. Reason? There is no interaction between us to make me feel like I owe it to them!

Just got a freezer delivered and shlepped down to the basement. Would either of the "flyers" tip for that?

by car washes that i go to there is a tip jar and you dont tip each person seperately so i would put 1 dollar into the jar

Yup, and they charge $18 so it's easy to just hand 'em a $20.  If he ever goes up to $20 I'll be in a dilemma ;)

Stop tipping waiters and they will ask for a raise or leave to clean hotels.

I would tip anyone if they did a marvelous job, there is no mandatory tipping.

I once had a dresser delivered, and boy did I get it from the furniture store owner (who happens to be related to me), for not tipping.

Do you always tip your Bartenders in lounges? If so how much? Do you tip with your first drink? Last drink? Every drink?

Depends if I'm wearing a baseball cap or Kippah -- if the latter, got to tip every drink.  If the former, you have more discretion.

SuperFlyer -- I'm a firm believer in tipping commensurate with the quality of the service -- but we're talking about the bartender in a lounge.  How can the service vary so much in quality to make a difference??? They either gave you your beer or didn't  :)  I suppose if they made you wait a while and seemed to keep doing other things....but I've never experienced that.

He hides his peyos under his cap, and they will think:
