And I'm sure any time he wanted his car, they brought it faster than they brought your car.
Yup although I never had to wait too long.

Maintenance does not need to be tipped unless they are plunging your toilet

Always wondered what is expected in certain scenarios. Please post what you think is acceptable tip in various scenarios. A few recent examples:

1) 3 movers worked for about 6 hours, how much would you tip?
2) 1 driver delivered a bunk bed, how much would you tip?
3) Valet driver what is the standard tip?

Thanks I tipped $40 each for the movers and they walked away grumbling under their breath... I thought $40 was towards the generous end since they did a good job.

How much and how often do you tip parking attendents at a lot that you use every day?
If you don't care why would you comment?

You should post location as the expectations differ by country and perhaps by city.

I think a 1x yr holiday gift in the $50 range is classy, especially if you are on first name basis
Room service bringing something you requested, what would you tip?
$1 each time

+1 on these numbers. Valet might be a little more depending on the location.
