The camera deletes itself from the video. check out the last second where he presses the button on the camera but you dont see the camera

That is because it can't take a picture of itself.. It gets everything around it.

I think they leave tonight, so it would have had to be Sunday night, which since we haven't seen any pics of it, sounds like it didn't happen.
