Terrible, the worst part is that one can tell that its not the first time that she got hit....

I heard he got shipped back to france and reported to interpol/authorities..

What is almost even more disturbing is some of the comments agreeing with the father and seeing nothing wrong with his behavior.

It could be the kid WAS chutzpadik.
It could be she's a really chutzpadik kid, ALL THE TIME.
It could be she did deserve some sort of "punishment".

But treating her like that IS NEVER THE ANSWER.

And she seemed so indifferent to it all.
And it seems to me that he doesn't even think he's doing something wrong otherwise he wouldn't do it in public.

And the real sad part is... children with parents like that usually end up doing the same thing to their kids one day.

dont u think the comments saying it wasnt so bad were bored people who wanted everyone to do exactly what they did and go ballistic on them and start a massive controversy

I was to start this thread a few days ago, but my heart didn't let me to give other people to see this. I was really not able to sleep the night I saw this. And I think there must be people on these forums that know this guy, and it's your obligation to do something about this.

Don't know if anyone noticed, but toward the end of the video the mother is yelling at the guy who stopped him. Not gonna start speculating, when I have no idea what happened

Who seemed indifferent - the daughter getting hit? What would you like her to do, she's clearly embarrassed, and probably hurt...

I agree, if he realized how crazy it was, he wouldn't do it in public.

You're quoting a common misconception. Children who are abused are more likely than other people to become abusers, but it is not true that they will "usually" become abusers. In other words, most abused children do not grow up to become abusers.

I'm not saying it's not bad enough, and if I had been there, I would probably have thrashed the father, but many people misunderstand what the research regarding abuse shows.

There are a lot of speculations that this is a step mother, because she looks young, and its clearly looks like she approached him to this. And as we all know every yidishe mame with a bit of clemency on her children would never let this thru, and especially not protect her husband afterwords.
Please whoever has information, it's a mitzva to get on this. Be sure that no authorities would get involved!. Only community pressure would work!!

Yes, I could hear that. Even from the people I know personally MANY do...but yes. When it comes to serious topics like this it's always a good idea to be careful with the exacting wording of how you say things!!
