Excellent continuation of the TR.
It is the unexpected things that make a trip memorable.
You need to be in a happy place, and know that all turns out good, add some humor and you have a great time.

PS: I am glad you visited Crans-Montana and not your typical Jewish place like Davos and the likes which have a no way near comparable beauty.

always gotta try! alot of people get all bent out of shape when something goes wrong small or big and they let it ruin the trip. you have to remember that just because things didnt go exactly as planned doesnt mean you can still enjoy yourself.

Sometimes you end up having more fun or better experiences.

They fit in.
It's just that they choose lesser destinations...

My my number one travel tip is try to strike conversations and be friendly with strangers. Ask other travelers/locals for advice. You never now what amazing experiences it can lead to. For you it was a wonderful Italian Bar Mitzvah that you will remember forever.
