Traveling on Iberia
« on: December 15, 2018, 07:49:05 PM »
Hi,

I would really like some advice.  My wife an I are traveling from JFK to TLV on Iberia at the end of January.  Got a great price.  Thanks DAN!

We want to of course sit next to each other.

What is the advice of this very knowledgeable and experienced audience:  Should I prepay the extra fee and buy my seat assignments in advance or can I assume that Iberia will place us automatically together?

Thanks very much for all you advice and guidance>

You will be able to sit next to each other. If you don't care about front or back, don't pay. Don't fall into that trap.

I concur that you should be able to sit together. If not, ask for this at check-in.

Am doing the same as the person who started this post (we are flying as 4 people) and am wondering if I should pay the 17(middle) 35 (window/aisle) to sit together.

Looking to find out anyone's experience when they arrived at the airport without buying seats in advance.

my wife and I asked to sit together so they told us that only two seats together available are premium. After some persistence, they gave it to us for free, saying “next time ull have to pay for it” im like , of course” ;D

Am getting an email from Iberia saying that if you buy seats in advance its cheaper than at the airport.

Do you have to buy a seat regardless?

No. Just like any LCC you won't have to stand if you dont pay, just may not be the best seat
