Please help! How to redeem delta ecredit voucher on Air France??

Urgent! Can someone please tell me how to redeem a delta ecredit voucher (starts with 006) to book an Air France flight? Redeeming online follow the link they give (www.delta.com/redeem) only allows you to book through delta where the same flight is double the price, and trying to call in there is a 2 hour wait time!

Check the terms and conditions in the evoucher.
I would expect a Delta voucher to only work on Delta, not it's partner airlines.

Call skymiles special number and tell them you forgot your number (if you don't have one)
