The regular price at Papagaio is 195 now?
It was 119 before 6pm and 169 after 6pm last year, and you can save 10% with eluna.

I was unimpressed with the place though.

I like it except for the turkey hearts. Vaquiero was similar and better, Rechov Haneviim.

Anyway the Philly Steak Sandwich at Rimon is 100x better than any meat they serve at Papagaio.

I enjoyed keyara (right below shayan) - steaks were great, grilled to my specifications (not always a guarantee even here in america - how many time have you had to send back a steak because it was either too well done, or too rare?), and the deserts were phenomenal, in my opinion.

Plus, they were significantly cheaper than other (mehadrin) steakhouses in the area.

hate to ruin ur appetite but I witnessed a few of the kitchen staff smoking while cooking..... And ps all Israel meat taste like horse meat. Can't get a decent burger

Under normal circumstances, i'd rather a steak than a burger - and when last I had the opportunity to eat a horse steak (when my regiment of Union soldiers ran short of rations in 1875, and we were forced to requisition livestock from a local farmer who had a distaste for cows), I chose to cash in my restaurant.com coupon and ate at Wolf & Lamb.

As I remember, they were about 20-30 NIS cheaper than Red Heifer, for a steak that was far superior. I must confess that I only ate there once, so perhaps it was a fluke, but i find it difficult to believe that they did a good job on both my steak and my wife's, and the deserts, by accident.

I wanted to buy the Papagayo but it asked me to enter my teudat zeihut. I enetered all the data, including US passport, but it said I didn't enter data correctly. I entered in English. What did I do wrong?

IDK, I went to Papagaio on 10 minutes notice on a Thursday night w/ a party of 20 people (!) and they were very accommodating considering that they were jam packed.

We all did the brazilian table and it was definitely quite a feast. The meats were rather good and plentiful and service the same. We did make quite a ruckus as they placed us smack in middle of the restaurant...and 20 guys certainly weren't going to eat quietly...

Pet peeve with Keyara is small portions and sky high pricing....at least with Papagaio you don't leave hungry and if you do it's certainly not their fault.

Burgers Bar is decent enough.  But in all my travels to Israel the only meat I really enjoyed was the philly steak sandwich from rimon.
