If the masher is not ben yomo the potatoes are mutar. Was the masher really fleishig in the first place? If yes it needs to be kashered if not it is milchig. Assuming the pot was milchig it is also mutar.

This that they mention about nowadays being allowed to wash more than is needed for the remainder of the nine days has a bunch of poskim who disagree. It really depends upon how to interpret this that the poskim say that doing laudry is hesech hada'as from the aveilus. If it is literally only that then this reasoning makes sense. Once you start including that there is a level of simcha in having clothes washed (which seems to be the case from this that one may not give clothes to a cleaners) then it is not so simple.

Are you referring to the thread he linked? It specifically states that one may NOT wash more than enough for the 9 days.

Does anybody know how to make undershirt tzitzis (Like the ones they sell)?

Can I just take an undershirt and cut it on the sides up to a certain length and put tzitzis on it? Does there have to be a seam on the sides? Do the edges have to be sewn up?

I would want to use a t-shirt undershirt not the sleeveless, would that make a difference? If that's not good, can I cut off the sleeves?

Any help is appreciated.
