Reason is LY owns bornstein and it's in their own interest that they should have better food than the competitors.
And don't forget they are the only one serving Kosher Wine which is very nice.
I'll second the part that experience in LY premium is generally top notch. The reason people are so confused is because unfortunately service in Y is extremely poor.@Dan, regarding the food, LY SKML is definitely better than KSML on UA. Heck UA KSML comes from the same kitchen as LY KSML and over there it's for sure no comparison. Reason is LY owns bornstein and it's in their own interest that they should have better food than the competitors. Sorry no pics. Maybe I can dig up.
LY can not take food directly to the plane, it most go thru LSG etc. Now if LSG servers me a meal a month after expiration then who is at fault?
C'mon with LY for some reason you never get stuff a month after expiration. LSG is a good excuse. LY picks up the food a few hours before departure. If they have to hand the food to LSG to physically bring it to the plane that's possible. But LY is making sure meals are fresh. I've had multiple times a few hours before the flight I called up the ELAL station managers and they were still able to call up the guy who does the delivery and add another meal for last minute booking etc. In other words LSG is not the issue.
I'm not sure which side you are taking here. - I was served an old expired meal on AA, and LY claims that they deliver fresh to LSG and the old meal I got is LSGs fault
LY claims? Are you talking about bornstein or LY? I understand that LY is the parent company but how did you get LY involved?
I made a new thread listing airlines that serve kosher wine. Please add what you know and edit the wiki.http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=85519.0
Funny how this is an offshoot of this thread and not the KSML thread
Interesting. Doesn't LY give Regal for the SKML ex-NYC?
Was talking EX NYC.
https://pro.delta.com/content/agency/il/en/delta-in-israel.htmlThe last line in this article says that they serve kosher wine on this route
EX means “leaving from”?
