Had the CP booked on a good deal with IHG points, but I don't I've ever spoken to a less friendly hotel than them for a connecting room request. Pretty nasty tone when I asked.

Any recommendations for hotels that will accept connecting room requests?

marriott park ridge or courtyard montvale are decent and not too far - CP location tho is unbeatable.

CP Suffern: Has connecting rooms with 3 beds, won't guarantee connecting rooms until time of arrival.
Element SV: No connecting rooms with 3 beds.
Hyatt Hotel Nyack: No connecting rooms with 3 beds.
Courtyard Mahwah: Has connecting rooms with 3 beds, won't guarantee connecting rooms until day of arrival.
Residence Inn Saddle River: No connecting rooms. Has 2 BR suite, but only has 2 beds and pull-out couch. No rollaways available for any room.
Fairfield Inn Mahwah: Has connecting rooms with 3 beds, will block them off if you ask nicely. Free rollaway bed available to request.

couple hilton options in nanuet maybe worth trying, but mahwah might be just as close

Hava Java is great for breakfast / brunch but by lunchtime may be too crowded / noisy. Food is excellent though. For lunch, Yoffee is great.
