Eta: the whole $1000 ticket thing seems to be marketing bs to hit Amex.
It's a %2 cash back card. No matter what you redeem for those 50,000 "points" will be a $1k statement credit (verified by the T&C)
Especially silly since booking a ticket with the points has tons of restrictions (see the terms, it's almost funny)
If they refund the AF this may be a really good card to get in December. Will be even better if the lounge access works after closing.. (Eta: seems like it does)
