Did you price check on sapphire reserve? Sometimes makes more sense than redemption and surcharges, especially cause youll earn miles

Air france will sometimes be 95k

DL used to be 80,000. But I guess they eliminated their partner sweet spot.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Nah. I'll just do TK for the outbound. Debating whether to do VS or AC for return.

Oh, yeah that makes sense, thought you were specifically looking for VS. AC is gonna be cheaper..

VS kicks with cancellation/change fees as well as CS in general and especially hold times. (Companion discounts are another reason as well if applicable)

Can I add a klm flight to my virgin Atlantic flight so luggage is getting transferred instead of collecting and recheck them?

Called Virgin and they said they can't combine it, but when I checked in to my 1st klm flight the agent was able to tag the bags all the way to final destination

I have Virgin Atlantic Silver status, and have just learnt that it now comes with 1 piece of extra luggage!

Usual baggage acceptance rules apply.
Valid on Virgin Atlantic operated flights only.
Extra bag must weigh 23kg or less.

Probably not. Call virgin there may actually be availability just online is a bit buggy/unreliable. Common to be this way. I’ve discovered award space this way (on fb or others, not themselves) many times then called to book.

I booked a Delta flight with virgin points before Oct. - for a flight in Jan '24.

To get rebooked on El Al - I called Virgin, they said I need to call Delta bc Delta cancelled the flight.

Spoke to Delta, they said I need to talk to Virgin.

Any advice on next steps?
Virgin offered a full refund.

I've seen quite a few delta business [and economy] flights available  through flying blue (e.g ZRH to JFK on Dec 24) .

Virgin website isn't showing the flights available.

When calling virgin they see the seat available however when trying to book it then say they have issue pricing it.

technical issue ? anyone elso encountered this ?
