Edit: dead, seller sold 475 in less than 5 hours. (last week buy.com sold 1500 Intel i3 laptops in less time than that, another killer deal).

Refurbs on the apple store for the same price. 

32gb = 550, 64GB = 650.

I wonder if they have somewhere where there a log of sorts.

Reminds me of a Centro I just bought on eBay supposedly NIB well, it came in a generic box and when I viewed the info in the phone (#RTN) it cleraly stated that it was a refurb I just have to decide how I will fight it out.

this is from apple directly, no idea on ebay sellers, etc...   

the refurbs say "refurbished" on the white box for ipods so i assume it is the same for the ipads.
new rear cover, battery, headphones, charger, cable and box.  same 1 year warranty.
