1-Who cares?

Wouldn't you want people who are looking to find or post actual useful information about Beit Shemesh to actually find it? What is the point in it being here? Why do you care so much?

I didn't see any incitement going the other way. Her incitement almost gave us a Taava to go vote Greenberg. What goes both ways?

There was plenty.
Maybe the average chareidi sees it as the regular hyperbole, but it was seen as incitement by (at least some of) the dati/chiloni part of the city
stuff like this:

Like a win for bloch is a win for achashverirosh and haman...
This is from the mild stuff.
Bloch may not have been loved by the charedim but that kind of hyperbole is hateful.
I even saw the charedi rhetoric covered in the secular media (forgot where exactly so cant help you with a link...)

I like it how only non-Chareidim are alowed to fight for their rights but not Chareidim...

Non-Chareidim can shut down the country for months because they don't like the Prime Minister or because they feel that the cottage cheese is too expensive, but the second a Chareidi demands a mayor for his city that understands his needs in a city that's 80% Chareidi its terrible...

A true Chareidi cares first and foremost about his Neshama and connection to Hashem. Everything else comes after. In Bet Shemesh, the former mayor did not understand this fact and instead tried to teach Chareidim what was really important. The election was not at all about politics or the attractions of the city, it really was simply for what should be the basic rights of every Jew in EY who wants to serve Hashem. Shuls, schools, Torah, and keeping away all the garbage that has unfortunately infiltrated non-Chareidi culture.

Yes. This is what the war was about and why so many people went out to support Greenberg even though many voted while holding their noses...

I was saying that "... a win for bloch is a win for achashverirosh and haman..." is true.
It's not hyperbole at all.

Bloch refused to let the Chareidi citizens of the city who dared to move into more secular areas to build shuls and schools.
She dafka brought in schools that were made to fight against the Mesorah of how we bring up our kids.
She purposefully tried to bring in massive skyscrapers to make sure that secular Jews move in.
She picked the wrong side and the Chareidim fought against it. She started the war and paid the price. Getting ousted.

Moshe Green's comment is what chareidi leaders believe.
This is EY, we are here for the right reasons, and we don't have to naive and
be milamed zchus about the motivations of those who hinder our priorities
Voting for the good guy can be our way of being laamod al nafsheinu.

All true from what I understand
but when you talk that way about them - don't complain 'bout the "incitement" when they fight back... (not saying who started just that all sides did it)
(There's a reason I chose NOT to move to Beit Shemesh...)

Anyway this thread would prob be at home in the destination guides board, (my earlier joke being just that...)

There is a huge differance between badmouthing a political candidate (no matter how harsh or baseless the accusations) and stoking hatred against a community

Do you think the political candidate agrees with this assessment?

Thats irelevent.  Saying a candidate will destroy a city is not incitement. Speaking about frum people (not the candidate (who agav did army service)) who don't understand war because its not their kids dying and they therefore shouldnt be allowed to win is hate mongering
