I just got back from a trip to some national parks where I flew in and out of Vegas.
My flight back was scheduled on Saturday night at 11pm in First class on an award ticket but I found out that the flight was delayed to Sunday at 730am and my flight was rebooked to a different flight in economy.
I tried calling AA to change back onto the flight that I was originally on, but the estimated hold time was more than 2 hours, so I decided it was faster to drive 20 minutes to the airport and talk to an agent there.
I went to the Priority desk and asked to have my flight changed back to the original one in 1st class, and he did it for me.
Today I logged into my acct and I noticed I had more miles than when I last checked it, so I looked at the history and I see I have 15,000 extra miles labeled as customer service bonus.
I guess it was worth the trip to the airport!
