switching sapphire accounts

hey dan (or whoever can help),
i had a preffered visa, & i applied for the mcw preffered, i got declined bec. i already have a sapphire. i then immediately closed my visa & transferred the cl to a united card. if i call them a day or 2 later & ask them to reconsider my mcw preffered app by taking credit from my united card, will they accept me? how long should i wait b4 doing this?

you have nothing to lose by calling back tomorrow. They have already taken a pull at your credit report. If you wait and reapply, they will just do another pull.

I got today approved thru recon. for the sapphire MCW while having a sapphire VISA

no just told them that i need it for MC WORLD benefits so he told me he will fill a reconsideration form with a recommendation for $5k cl and i will get a answer in the mail within 2 weeks 5 minutes later i called in and heard that i was approved

a little sweet talk and allot of siyata dishmaya goes a looooong way!
just got approved!
i had to say why i wanted the sapphire mcw after closing the visa, i said for the israel insurance, & bec. of the no international fees
after being transferred to application review and account security was approved by moving over the credit i transferred when closing the visa.
