american same day change

I thought the same would work with my delta medallion statues. But They count JFK and LGA two separate airports.

Can't talk for American especially on a basic ticket but I recall doing this as a DL platinum a few years back
For IRROPS and rebooking they definitely are interchangeable

For IRROPS yes, usually there are many waivers etc
i was asking about same day bec the flight to jfk is MUCH cheaper but lands right before shabbos so that doesnt work for me

You can always try your luck and see what happens. I may recall having some success with it. Online definitely will not let but it could be you’ll get lucky because they are both considered NYC

Don’t know AA But United I book a later flight or next day etc and standby within 24hrs. With status unless crazy busy should clear deff with status. Is that an option? (United there’s same day change with same fare and standby even for not same as long as same cabin. This helps for such situations…)

Standby online will not include a different airport, status will not help with that. Only real bet would be if you call
