Capital one announced that their reward checking accounts will no longer earn points and in January these points will expire. I dont have a capital one cc to transfer too. Does anyone know something to do with these points? I have just over 22,000. I can redeem them for gift cards. Any better ideas?

Just today I got an email about it. There is no longer an option to transfer points to my cc account. I just cashed out on gc and a check for the rest.
You best option is to take the largest gift card you can get. The bigger the gc, the greater the value. It goes up to a value of 1%. With your leftover points you can order a check for a value of 0.5%.
