Can i get OnePass card bonus if i was a addtnl. card holder before?

I am thinking of applying for the continental card before it goes off the market. I have never had that card before but my wife did add me as an additional cardholder to get the bonus miles for that.
Now if i apply, would i still be considered a first time card applicant and get the 30K bonus?

Of course. But why would you settle for 30k when 50k is out there? You can even get the card and close it, and get it again. With bonus both times - unlikely to happen at this point in time.

That's why I was asking him why he wrote that u should apply with the 50k link instead of the 30k link. AFAIK there isn't a 50k link.
