Where are the link for 'unread topics since last time' and 'new response etc'?

I have noticed that the links for  'unread topics since last time' or new response etc doesn't exist any more. Where are they? Those are very useful link. Also the search doesn't work that well any more. I searched 'Nordstorm', get nothing. I know it has been discussed before in some thread.

I looks like it is related to my login. I have tried 4 computers between work and home. None of them shows 'unread posts since last visit', 'new replies to your post' or even the tie. But wen I create a new id, everything works. Any idea what setting controls it?
