I bought a round trip ticket on alitalia
Italy-Jfk, jfk-phl in Dec 2012
phl-jfk, jfk-italy, march 2013
In december, when i took my flight, I got off at jfk and didnt take the jfk-phl leg. I did so as I was unwell and went to see a doctor (who would be happy to vouch for me) in nyc. I've now become aware that this cause my ticket to be invalid. I've called into aliatia to re-confirm my ticket and all appears to be fine. Should I have any cause for concern? Should i call alitalia and admit that I skipped the flight -but i had a legit reason- or should i bank on slipping through the cracks, and why bring it up if no-one at alitalia has to me first?
