Points Did Not Transfer & Have a Reservation Today

I Have a reservation in a Marriott hotel today and made a transfer from Chase UR yesterday and it said that the transfer will take 1 business day , but after checking my account today the points did not transfer yet and spoke to Ur and Marriott and they said it may take up to 48 hrs -  1 week . The only option they gave me was to transfer from  family member or friend but dont have anyone at the moment . so would anyone have any other suggestions ?

So they let you reserve without points in your account? did they require a credit card?
