Delta kosher meals
« on: January 07, 2014, 11:38:38 PM »
I was trying to request Glatt kosher meals for a Delta flight to e"y. The agent told me all she sees on her list is reg. kosher no Glatt. Is reg. kosher=glatt?

For Delta, yes.

For this flight in particular, no. You can request 'Regal Kosher'.

Regal kosher is only valid for JFK - TLV (per this site).

I just flew JFK - LAS with my wife from the Delta glitch and we requested a Kosher meal on the way to LAS (Evening flight). We sat in business class and the meal was actually very tasty. I usually dont eat anything on the plane and i ate the whole thing. It was a delicious meal!

The only airline you have to request 'Glatt' is on ELAL, all others regular kosher is indeed Glatt!

jfk-lax was a proper business class meal served on china whereas the return was a classic non-edible coach meal

What do they serve first class on flights of 2-3.5 hours? Plus when are the meal times?

Notall delta flights have kosher option. Only the flights operated by delta itself and not delta connections have it
