Free 1000 Trueblue points (Jetblue)

The link above for the deal which gets you an extra 1000 points when flying within 60 days says that its for new trueblue customers only. That is why I didn't get the extra 1000 even though I flew within 60 days of joining the trueblue community.

I havent flown anywhere in the last 10 months, and never in my life with Jetblue.

It seems that some people are reporting that they got 2,000 points for the community and some 1,000.

I'd like to offer a hypothesis:
When the promo came out, it seems there was confusion if you would get the points for just signing up or for 3 posts.
I think it was for both; 1K for signing up, and 1K for participating.

They used two different languages when giving the bonus points:
"TrueBlue Community Signup Bonus" I got on 9/30 and
"TrueBlue Community Participation Bonus" I got on 10/08
