Will the JFK coins being released today have the same value as the Eiswnhower coins after their release? Or the Eisenhower had only 17,000 on sale while the JFK has 50,000.

What made this year's releases more valuable vs. last year and prior (FDR is still available) is that this year's 4 sets are reverse proofs.  It's the first time that's been done for a US Mint presidential.  That said I think if you check around you'll see that the JFK's are clearly not AS valuable as the Ikes.  Still probably +ev.

So the Ikes are more valuable because less were made ?

This year's sets are reverse proofs, that's the real value add.  The Ikes were a more limited run making them more valuable (plus DDMS/DCL covered them lol).  I'm sure you're right that JFK's popularity bolstered the value here even with the increased production.
