Don't know if that was a sarcastic comeback... "not smart"?

Hotels reported 50 percent reservation cancelations right after the fact...

News outlets are repoing major economic blows from this in retail and tourism yet I haven't seen any major price reductions..

After many terror attacks and natural disaster prices plummeted to increase tourism... after the meltdown Japan (govt) was basically giving free trips to anyone with a blog or even small time reporter to get them to write reviews.

(side note) Israel isnt at a full-time war now...no one should be scared to go.. dont cancel your trips to the Holy Land.

While I personally would definitely still go (actually have more of a desire to go), I totally get that someone would be scared. And to say that they are not at a full war-what does that even mean? Are you in Israel?
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

Am I the only one that opened this thread thinking it was gonna be about  cheap tickets on thanksgiving?
My parents are flying on Thursday and my father told me that after about midday Thursday all the ridiculously high priced  tickets drop like crazy
