Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Not true, you can book for other people outside the household, you just have to add them to the friends list.

Is there a limit on how many friends you can add?

So you invite a friend & he can now transfer his avios into your account ?

Nope, for avios to be combined, all the members (separate from the extra 5 list), have to be at same household. In addition to that you can use your miles to book flights for an additional 5 people not in the household from the other list.

Lots of times they do, but no one here would be able to give a 100% accurate answer. When I tried to go this past weekend, there was nothing avail.

YES!  I've found best availability 3-5 weeks before the flight date.  Also, the inventory changes constantly.  One day - nothing.  The next day - a whole day of flights.  The next day - nothing at all.

Although NYC - YUL over all doesn't have as much availability as NYC - YYZ.  (But, of course, that won't help you if you need to go to YUL)

I've had that.  Son in YYZ for yeshiva.  Other son just married a girl from YUL.  So lots of angst about availability.  YYZ most often a seat comes through.  To YUL before Rosh Hashana - they went by bus.  :-[

How do I search on BA flights from NY to TLV on partners to avoid the big taxes and fuel surcharges? I did a search it's only showing with British flights.

Use AA.com to search oneworld (per the wiki of that thread).
For a one stop shop of which airlines charge fees as you are trying to get to Israel check this DDMS post http://www.dansdeals.com/index.php?s=israel+chart

AA.com for AA partner availability. If it's in saver on AA.com it's bookable with BA. Remember to search by each leg separately. If for some reason it's not listed BA even though it shows on AA saver, you can PUTPAC BA.
