eBay bad seller

I got email today from eBay that my iPhone sold. A few min later they emailed again how the buyer is a fraud. When I called up they said his eBay account did not match his PayPal account. I'm really upset cuz now I have to start auction again which means I have to wait another week as I would like auction to finish Monday night. What I don't get is that when I posted I to selected to only ship in US, but this buyers address is in Norway. Why did they except his/her bid altogether? Anybody have similar experience?

You can set the listing to only accept bids from buyers registered in specific locations

You can end the auction in a day if you wish, I've done it and sold it at a nice price.

What about giving a second chance offer to the next highest bidder?
If you can, do it soon before they guy buys elsewhere.

I read on the forums that if its a hot item (like an iphone etc) than short auctions are great (they will see a hot item at a low price, ending soon, which will cause lots of bids), but if its an uncommon item you want a 10 day listing to build up interest from as many ppl as possible.

From my research seems leaving it over weekend expiring Monday 7pm pacific is best
