Any Advice? Deleted email from iphone - lost notes

DW deleted a gmail account from an iphone. Turns out her notes were being saved to that email account. Found online that I should log back into the account and notes would show up. Unfortunately only those until 2019 are showing. Any idea why that might be? Is there any way to retrieve the lost notes? There was a ton of important info in those notes (lesson learned for the future).

Thanks a lot - ive tried both of those but for some reason it seems notes from after 2019 were not syncing (not sure why). Wondering if there is any other way to retrieve it

You might wanna try to restore the last iCloud backup before deleting the Google account?

You could also try to call Apple and/or Google

Gonna try restoring the last backup - thanks for the idea. Ill post if that works

Tried downloading the most recent backup (yesterday) but it still only loaded up until 2019, which is the strangest thing because my wife got a new phone a couple of months ago and downloaded the backup from her old phone and the notes came through. Im at a loss (spend the past few hours trying to figure this out)

If you go to the “all mail” folder it may all be there scattered. When I deleted the notes I found them still to be there.

are you sure that all the notes you lost were made on that gmail account? maybe they were made on a different account or straight on the iPhone or another iCloud account? did you check every single account in the notes? seems very strange that you would lose the notes to an email just by deleting the account from the notes as every note that is made is saved under the email as soon as it is made.

Thanks. Yes. I checked every single gmail and icloud account... not sure why the post 2019 notes are gone.
