This is the lowest price buy I've seen for an extra base. It goes for in stores for around $80 and Amazon has alawys had it for around $62.

Dan recently brought the consumer report ratings on this car seat.
You can also see car seat reviews at Amazon.
But I recommend you get it BuyBuyBaby with a 20% of coupon.

BBB=$194.99-20%=$155.99+tax.
Amazon=$150+no tax outside NY.

Correct. However, the Romantic which is the color of my choice is 189.99 on Amazon.
