-If you plan on using public transportation, get an Oyster card. They are much cheaper and easier to use than conventional travel cards, and never expire. They can be bought in many stores in London, or online. These days one can use contactless credit cards instead of Oyster.(Check here to see if your foreign contactless card will work.)

-Here is a handy planner for the public transport system.

-DD's Kosher Sandwiches can be bought in most major airports and stations and at some supermarkets around London.  Check here for a list of locations.

-Kosher in the West End/City -
Selfridges food hall has a variety of kosher groceries and prepackaged ready food by 1701.
Hermolis  also have a deli counter there.  The range includes schnitzels, spring rolls, kebabs, breaded lamb chops, chicken wings, fish products and salads. Traditional Shabbat dishes will be on sale on Thursdays and Fridays. Supervision is provided by the Kashrut Division London Beth Din
In the City Munch'n'Crunch have a stand in Hatton Garden with kosher meals, sandwiches, sushi and coffee. It is located at 32 Hatton Garden, on the lower-ground floor of Jewellery Emporium. There is also Mincha there at 1:30.

-Kosher food at non-kosher hotels, restaurants etc. can be ordered from the following kosher caterers in London. They provide double-wrapped meals to any location and could also match the menu of your location.

Royal Cuisine (KED/LBD)

Zmanim - MyZmanim London

Minyanim - There are many shuls all over London, however there are a couple of places that have more constant Minyanim throughout the day.

Hagers (Beth Yisochor Dov Beth Hamedrash)
R' Chuna's (Beth Shmuel Synagogue)

Stamford Hill
Satmar 26 (Clapton Common)

Biala Shul (47 Moundfield Rd, London N16 6DT, UK)
Here is a list of addresses and zmanim for the above, and other places.

-Minyan in the West End could be found at the Marble Arch Synagogue. Shacharis during the week is followed by breakfast, and a kiddush on Shabbos.

-Most food products in general stores do not have a hechsher on them. This does not necessarily mean they are not kosher. For example, Coca-Cola does not have a hechsher, but it is kosher. Here is an online kosher product search that could help. Link to Android app.

One way on train from gatwick to hendon direct is 16 pounds each, not 35. Uber or cab from Hendon station should be 5-7 pounds or so.
If you want to save money I would do that. Much more efficient and pleasant than messing round with trains to victoria (in the center of london) at the dead of night - and I think cheaper also.
This is a single train from gatwick to hendon, with no changes. Not the tube.
I guess I miss typed something.
At 2 am Victoria isn't too bad but Hendon is for sure easier. I can probably get my car parked by Hendon station for me. Where is it exactly?

Never been to London

I'm planning to go in November

I heard the main economical transportation is via tube

I'm staying at the Park Lane and plan on going to Kosher Restaurants daily

Is tube direct or tube/Uber my best option
I don't mind paying a few pounds or euro for a Uber as well if I'll save a lot of time.

No, most economical way to Golders Green is by bus, see above. 1.50 each way. Time is similar to taking tube when you consider changing at Euston etc, but much more pleasant IMO. Busses every few minutes.

There is one change but it's on the same platform.

No, after midnight it's without change. During the day you need to switch on same platform, as above. Question was re getting from Gatwick after midnight..

I'm trying to look up a residential number in Stamford Hill. However I am having a difficult time finding an English version of 411.com.
Would someone be able to look it up for me please? If so please PM.

Something new I learned today at LHR arrivals:

Nearly every time I come (1-3x per month) they tell me to sign up for Registered Traveler (UK version of Global Entry), so today i actually spoke to an Agent while walking through fast track - apparently there is no use in me signing up as I would not be able to use the kiosks anyway because my passport chip is fried (I thought all frequent fliers disable their chips)

e-passport chip

So you're American, ok ok. So that narrows it down to around 300,000,000 people.
